Editor's take
Tetris Master is the faithful classic: seven tetrominoes, rising speed, line clears, no gimmicks. In our playtests it did exactly what a Tetris port must do and nothing it must not — the pieces rotate predictably, the DAS feels right, and the next-piece preview respects the original's information contract. There is a purity to playing Tetris with nothing bolted on: no power-ups, no adventure map, just you against the stack and your own previous best. After forty years the design still holds because the tension it creates — speed versus order — is self-balancing. When what you want is simply Tetris in a browser tab, this is the honest answer.

Strategy tips
Keep your stack flat and your well on the right — a consistent well side means you always know where the I-piece goes for the four-line Tetris clear. Avoid building over two-block-deep holes; a buried gap costs more to fix than a slow, tidy stack. At high speed, look at the next-piece preview before the current piece locks, not after — the extra half-second of planning is the whole game.
