Math Squares

Math Squares is a game where you have to match memory cards of X with X*X. For small squares, you need to know correct squares but for tough squares, it has been reduced to some factors multiplications which should be easy for you. Skill-up fast!
Editor's take
Math Squares turns arithmetic into a crossword and it's better than that pitch sounds. Each board is a grid of intersecting equations; you're given the numbers and must place them so every row and column balances. The mechanic forces genuine planning — one digit can satisfy two equations or break both — and later boards demand real mental bookkeeping. Difficulty tiers are well judged, starting with single-digit warmth and climbing toward boards that will occupy your full attention. Our playtest ran clean on phone and desktop. It's the rare math game that respects numerate adults as much as it teaches kids, and it headlines our math puzzle hub accordingly.
How to play
Match card of X with card of X X
Strategy tips
Fill the squares where a row and column you already know cross — intersections give you two equations for one cell. Large results are usually multiplication, small ones are subtraction or division; check the operator before guessing the number. If a grid stalls you, restart the last row instead of the whole board.
