Your objective is to link bubbles of the same color. The longer chain you make, the higher your award is. Use powerful boosters to enhance your overall result and beat your friends.
Editor's take
Connect the Bubbles drops the cannon and asks you to drag paths through matching bubbles instead — and the genre is better for it. Chaining a long route through a crowded board rewards planning over reflexes, and in our playtests it was the standout touchscreen experience of the bubble shelf: drawing a chain feels native to glass in a way aiming never does. The scoring rewards longer chains, which creates a lovely risk-reward tension between cashing in a safe three-bubble link and threading a greedy eight. It is the pick we give players who find bubble shooters too twitchy and match-3 too random. Same colors, same pops, completely different brain.

Strategy tips
Greedy long chains are not always best: a chain that strands single bubbles of the same color costs you future moves, so check what your chain leaves behind before committing. Work from the board's densest region outward — clearing the packed center early prevents isolated pockets. When no long chain exists, take the shortest safe chain that connects two same-color groups; merging groups is worth more than raw chain length.
