Block Sort: Colormania takes the sorting-puzzle formula and gives it real texture. The core rule is familiar — rearrange colored blocks between stacks until each stack runs pure — but Colormania's execution adds weight: blocks move with a satisfying heft, the color set stays readable deep into the harder boards, and the level design introduces constraints (locked stacks, limited buffer space) at a pace that keeps the mid-game interesting where many sorting games plateau. In our playtests the difficulty felt tuned rather than random: we hit genuine 'stop and think' boards regularly, but never the cheap deadlocks that make you reach for the restart button in disgust. Within our sorting hub this is one of the games we would call a quiet essential — not the flashiest entry, but the one whose levels are most carefully authored. Keep at least one stack empty as workspace; without it, mid-game boards deadlock. Consolidate the color with the biggest visible run first to free stacks fast, and never split a completed stack. On boards with locked stacks, plan around them as walls — solve the free region first and the locks usually open in sequence.
