Editor's take
Ball Chain Blast brings chain-drawing to the sports arena: draw chains connecting matching sports balls — footballs, basketballs, tennis balls, volleyballs — then blast them for massive points. The chain mechanic rewards a different skill than swap-matching: instead of finding one move, you're tracing the longest possible path through same-type balls, which turns every board into a route-optimization puzzle. Longer chains mean bigger blasts and better special pieces, so the tension between grabbing quick points and setting up monster chains drives every decision. The sports theme keeps icons distinct and readable mid-trace. It plays perfectly on mobile, where finger-drawing chains feels made for the format. For match fans seeking a tracing twist, this is a blast indeed.

Strategy tips
Trace backwards from your chain's best ball: find the cluster's center and draw outward for maximum length. Chains of five-plus earn special pieces, so pass up easy threes to set up the monster route. After big blasts, pause one beat — falling balls often complete new chains you'd have missed mid-animation.
